Ok, so here's the deal. I ran a bookfair this past week. Every time I have one, it costs me LOADS of money, as I am a book fanatic. As usual, each of the kids picked a few, and then, when there was a lull in the crowds, and I had time to wander, my "tab" grew. I came across a "How to draw Horses" kit. It came with a small instruction book, and 5 pencils of different levels of lead, an eraser and a small sketch pad. I have about 5 of these type books, but I always seem to be unable to resist getting another. I had to get up extra early this morning because Yori is in a county wide concert, they had practice today, and had to be at the school by 7am. When I got back from dropping him off, the house was so nice and quiet, I decided to try to sketch alittle. I haven't drawn anything in years, (no time, to lazy, whatever the reason.) When Connor got up, she decided to try her hand at it also. I am most comfortable drawing horses, they are my favorite subject after all. Connor tried, but was very frustrated and upset because they weren't "perfect". (What drawing is?) Barry suggested she start out with inanimate objects, to get a "feel" for it and get the basics down. Here are what we both came up with. Hope you like them!
PS. The dog is Megan, I found it extremely hard to switch from horses to dogs. Jess do you have a hard time making the switch to other animals?
